Racquet Restrings
We have one of only a handful of Babolat racquet restring stations available in Australia and we can assure you, the machine you use makes a difference! If you’re serious about your game, whether it be tennis, squash or badminton, let us restring your racquet – you’ll notice the difference!
We offer a fast and professional restringing service and as well as our Babolat restring station we also have two Babolat sensor experts and a Dunlop second gen.

Restring FAQ's
As a rough guide we recommend restringing your tennis, squash or badminton racquet as many times per year as you play per week. For example: if you play 3 x per week we recommend that you have your racquet restrung 3 x times per year.
You can also notice how your strings look. If they are fraying at the edges you may not get as much spin or power and it may be time for a restring depending on the type of string you are using.
Bring your racquet into our shop and our expert team can assist you with further information.
Once your racquet is on our restring machine we can restring your racquet in less then 20 minutes. It is best to call ahead for wait times, particularly when close to the weekend.
Otherwise, we will happily restring your racquet and have it ready for you to pick up in less then 24 hours or as requested.
This is a good question! Everyone has personal preference for more power/spin/control. Having your strings strung at the right tension can assist with any of these. Normally the tighter your racquet is strung the more control you get and the looser your racquet is strung the more power you get. It will also depend on the type of string. We will happily talk to you and recommend what type of string and the tension when you bring your racquet into our shop.
There are also many factors to consider when choosing the right string for you. This includes how often you break strings and the durability of different strings. We have a range of poly, synthetic, natural gut and multi filament strings to choose from and we can talk to you about why we recommend certain strings depending on how you play!
