Finding the right racquet can make all the difference to your game. At Rackets & Strings, we believe the best way to choose a racquet is to try it for yourself.

Our racquet demo program gives you the opportunity to test a range of tennis, squash and badminton racquets before making a purchase.

With over 45 years of racquet sports experience, our knowledgeable team can help you compare brands, models and specifications to find a racquet that suits your playing style, ability and preferences.

Try racquets at our Adelaide stores

You can demo selected racquets at both of our Adelaide stores:

• Mile End: Test racquets on our onsite squash courts upstairs.
• Somerton Park: Try racquets against our hitting wall.

Whether you’re comparing brands, exploring different models or simply working out which racquet feels right, our team is on hand to offer expert advice and help you make an informed decision.

Take a racquet for a test drive

Want to give a racquet a longer test? For just $15, you can take a selection of demo racquets away for up to 48 hours to try on court, in your own time.

If you decide to purchase a new racquet, we’ll put the $15 demo fee towards your purchase.

It’s a great way to experience how a racquet performs during a training session or match before committing to a purchase.

Padel racquet demos coming soon

We’re expanding our demo program to include Padel racquets. While Padel demos aren’t available just yet, they’re coming soon! In the meantime, visit us in store or online to explore our growing range of Padel racquets and speak with our team about finding the right one for your game.

Expert advice to help you choose

Our experienced team knows racquet sports inside and out. Whether you’re a beginner, developing junior or experienced competitor, we’ll take the time to understand your game and recommend racquets worth trying.

For junior and recreational racquets, where a dedicated demo isn’t available, we may be able to arrange a quick onsite hit, subject to stock and availability.

We don’t currently have demo Padel racquets however, they are coming soon.
